Gifu World Freshwater Aquarium
This museum is one of the largest freshwater aquariums in the world and features around 28,500 waterside creatures (including fish and amphibians) from some 260 species. The creatures are displayed in tanks designed to recreate their natural environment as freshwater fish from the head to the mouth of the Kiso-sansen, Nagara and other rivers throughout the world.
