- The World Tea Museum is located on the Makinohara plateau, Japan's top area for tea production. Visitors can learn about the culture and history of Japanese tea while tasting local sencha (medium grade tea) and teas from around the world.
In addition, there is a reproduction of a tea house designed by Enshu Kobori, one of the top tea masters in the early Edo period (17th century), and visitors can enjoy a bowl of matcha (powdered green tea) in the tea room while gazing at the beautiful Japanese garden. - Touring procedures
