Most of this museum buildings are original red brick structures built in the Taisho period, which have been preserved as a valuable industrial legacy. Visitors can learn about the evolution of the textile machinery and auto-making technologies developed by the Toyota Group through watching operations of actual machines used in those times. Watching the Type G automatic looms start to operate all at once and the automobile production machines is quite a scene to behold and another must-see is the demonstration of the casting, forging and cutting processes.
