Okazaki Castle
Tokugawa Iyeyasu, the first Shogun of the Tokugawa Government in the Edo period (1603-1867), was born here in Okazaki Castle. This castle was reconstructed in 1959 to commemorate the birthplace of Tokugawa Iyeyasu in Okazaki city.
